Fleur de Clair method over Monopaints. 
 
The Fleurs de Clair series pushed and pooled their way into existence. As they suddenly appeared, I bore witness to a determination to be seen. The sacred art of Drag came to mind. 
 
Connected through the familial paints and palettes of other works, each Monopaint has a unique personality and explores ethereal texture, dueling forms, and an abundance of luscious, dynamic color. 
 
Inspired by printmaking's monoprint process, where each image is unique, I named these spontaneous, residue-dependent lovelies "Monopaints." 
 
Several healing, genuine stone, watercolor paints were used on top of the noted ground stone paint. 
 
25 Days of Minis 2024
 
This year is a mashup of my creative tropes. How I made one series combined with materials or moves of another. Some figural and some abstractions.  Always representing the unobserved. 
 
You will find five paintings within each category of creation. 
 
Several healing, genuine stone, watercolor paints were used on top of the noted ground stone paint throughout the paintings:  Purpurite, Rhodonite, Jadeite, Amethyst, Bloodstone, Green Apatite, Serpentine, Piemontite, Amazonite, Sodalite.
