Dream Bird
I was thinking about the redo of Murphy Brown with Candace Bergen and was obsessed with the character's reaction to the women's march. Her "pussy" hat was a golden gladiator helmet with huge, pink, feather plumes mohawked down the back.
I had a dream while I was walking fast and this bird landed on my arm. I watched as their feet began to meld into my skin without pain or blood. Dream dialogue: "I said to someone, 'do you see this?' and we were one." I painted this sentence on the back of the painting near my signature.

Cocktailing with a Friend
Created during the pandemic shutdown in Spring of 2020. Three prominent things were a temporal red of the times: Spotted Lantern flies in Philadelphia, the infamous artist's rendition of the Corona virus and Negronis; locusts, plague and medicine? A perfect cocktail that I spent a lot of time perfecting.

What’s on the other side of the stuck place? The transition to the quest space. Polly's Revenge is an allegorical narrative; a clever and victorious moment of triumphant escape and Karmic, corrective justice at the moment of blissful repair, through the miasma of life to get to the other side fueled by the light of free will.
